OnlyFans software engineer (backend)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with Software Architecting skills. If you enjoy both hands-on coding and designing robust systems, this role offers a great balance of technical challenge and impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements and responsibilities:

Design and Execution:

• Create architectural solutions that strike a balance between creativity and usefulness for new functional modules.
• Consider scalability, dependability, and performance while designing important system components.

Technical Maintenance:

• Overseeing and improving the production infrastructure, which includes cloud services, CI/CD, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and MySQL.
• Take part in DevOps strategy formulation and execution, including process automation and monitoring..

Innovation and Research:

• Constantly looking for new technologies to enhance our processes and systems.
• Take part in developing the organization’s long-term technology plan.

What do we expect from you:

• Experience with Node.js 3 years+
• Experience designing complex distributed systems using modern technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of technologies: MySQL, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, and cloud solutions (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Strong understanding of scalable and reliable systems design principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Communication and mentoring skills: you must be the voice of reason and change engine in the team.
